Journey on

The urge to scatter

is childish most sure.

It grasps the useful

then throws it out the door.

The call to gather

is harder to discern,

It bends my heart

to listen and to learn.

To choose direction

is often done in fear.

It makes me leap

with no sense of disaster!

To journey on

is life that lives to gather.

It tames the fear

and courage grants me laughter.
